Anyone know when the new Call of Duty 4 maps will be available?

My brother told me that he heard that there will be new maps, weapons, and matches available soon. Anyone know an exact date? Thanks.

I haven't heard of an official date, but you can be sure it will be around the time Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 comes out. It will be timed to hinder the CoD4 community's great exodus.
