PS1 car adaptor on slim PS2?

Will a Sony-branded car adaptor for the PS1 work on a slim PS2? And will it hurt anything if I have a travel screen plugged into the back of the PS2?

I want to play games when I travel but I'm curious to know and don't want to kill a PS2 to find out...

just check the voltage that each system requires. if its the same then youre good to go.

You would also need to make sure it can provide enough amperage. Extra amperage is okay, too little is not. Extra voltage is NOT okay. The plug would also need to fit.
