Quick questions regarding Panzer Dragoon Saga

I've been thinking of selling my mint copy of this game since I haven't played the thing in eight years and I had some questions. Is the source code for this game still existing or is it lost forever? I read in an ebay auction that it was destroyed or something. Also, does anyone know if I can use a saturn memory cart to save game files for this game? Thanks for all the help.

Don't know if you can use a memory cart (I just saved to the saturn) actually according to the games creator who was recently interviewed by Egm's James mielke the code is lost. Not likely the game could be re released without being redone from ground up. I bought a copy complete but not quite mint some time back to play the game truly a masterpiece. Ended up selling it for double what I paid (along with a custom clock sniderman made for me based on it) kinda want another copy almost... shame the graphics haven't held up real well. God a 360/ps3 remake would rule!

See, now I'm having second thoughts about selling the game. I bought the game brand new back in 98 but haven't really played it since. I've been keeping it for collectors sake but could use the money. I guess I was assuming eventually they'd rerelease in the future but I guess not. I despise the internal memory of the saturn though. Now, I don't know what to do. Thanks though for the help.

C'mon... You can't honestly part ways with Panzer Dragoon Saga. As soon as you sell it you know that your gonna get that feeling to play it again ;)

After several rediculous situations I have ended up buying the game 3 seperate times!!! I must say every time it was worth it.

As far as the memory card issue... YES you can save directly! You can save directly to the official Sega MC. Although, I have a "Memory Card Plus" (NOT the Interact one) and I can save directly to it as well. On a final note I seem to remember being able to save directly to my GameShark as well, but I could be wrong about that one.

I read that same article about the whole Panzer series and they said that not only is the code for Saga lost but the original Panzer was as well and the emulation of the game for Orta on Xbox was actually from the PC version of the game. Not only did that game not sell very well but the Panzer games in general didn't do too well so I would say it's highly unlikely to see a port or a virtual version of the game put out anytime soon. If you can get $500 for it then go for it but as tie passes I think that game will just become more scarce and more in demand.

I'd personally hold onto it, if we do see another PD it will be new from the ground up...but I don't see that happening...I'd like to though!!!
