I've got a Asian PAL Megadrive II. However, as you know, the power supply won't fit and I want to avoid buying an converter if possible. I used my US Genesis model 2 switch to test it, and it works. I don't want to fry the system, so can someone tell me if this will fry it?

Heres the PAL AC adapter:
Input 230V-50Hz
Output: 10V 850mA 8.5 VA

The US one is the adapter you get with the Model 2 genesis.

The back of the Asian Megadrive says: Rating: DC10V 0.85A

You're all good, output (what matters if you're in a country that uses the input marked on the adapter - which you are in the case of the Genesis 2 supply) is exactly the same.

10V @ 0.85A (850mA) is what a USA Genesis 2 power adapter outputs.
