I can't believe the run of bad luck I've had with buying off of EBay these days......

I recently got a Sega CD and bought a dozen or so games for it. One auction I bid on and won (and seemed like a great deal) was this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1488&item=3016951587&rd=1

At the TIME, it seemed great. The person was a registered user and had all good feedback, and they accepted PayPal, which is what I used to pay for the game.

Now just look at their profile. x_x

I've sent a few e-mails, but no response.

Should I go ahead and file a claim with PayPal? I hate to do that.....but at this point I doubt I'll get the game.

Geez, this person's full of excuses huh?

A death in the family AND her husband gets called for service in Iraq?

Even if she is telliong the truth you know she was obviously monitoring his ebay account because she responded to the negative feedback in a hurry.

Either way if the items weren't shipped he/she deserves a negative.

I'd say go ahead and file a claim to paypal. If you have not heard anything yet, you might as well get the ball rolling. Good luck!

Well, this goes from bad to worse.

I forgot I sent a MONEY ORDER for this game and did NOT use PayPal like I did for all of the other games. MO was the only option for this auction. I still have the receit from the Post Office MO, but it does'nt look like I can get my money back. >:(

And I can't even leave feedback on EBay because they have been suspended.

I supose I could try to e-mail EBay but I don't see how they can help.

There goes $20.

I would tell her that you want your item or money back within 7 days or you will file a mail fraud complaint. Since the transaction was done through the mail you can file a mail fraud complaint. Don't let people rip you off.

That's the first thing I thought looking at the feedback.

Well, I can't do anything through EBay yet because 30 days have'nt passed. I did however file a claim with SquareTrade and also requested the sellers contact information, which includes a phone number. I'd prefer not to use that until another week has passed, though, and see if they respond to SquareTrade's message.
