View Full Version : Final Fantasy X for the NES?

Some of you might remember this... About three years ago, there was a very extensive hack of Final Fantasy II, which when played, was a NES styled version of Final Fantasy X. I had played it, but it was in Japanese, and because of this, I never got to far and eventually deleted it. I've just remembered it recently and, well, I really want to play it for some reason.
If you are unfamiliar with this, here are some links.

But, for the life of me, I can't find it anymore. All that I can find are some old news pages describing the project, most of which date back three or more years, and all of which have broken links.
I had someone send me the Beta files, which I downloaded, but I want the full game. I have tried googling it, I've tried torrents, Peer-to-peer networks...no luck whatsoever. Does it even exist anymore?
Please, if you have any information regarding the fate of this game, or if you know where I can download the (full) verison of it, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

Ignore these ornament collecting faggots. If I had any information I would pass it along, instead of making snide comments from my parents basement.

God, you guys are such babies.
So he bumped a thread prematurely, did that hurt your feelings?
Either way, welcome to digital press, a site with great information but a pretty shitty community.

So rather than use all available resources yourself you'd rather sit and let other people search for you then keep bumping your thread when it's not getting done fast enough.
A WINNER IS YOU!

Um, my original comment was directed at the FIRST THREE posts of a new member being the equivalent of "OMG WHERE R DA ROMZZZ!!??!11!"
If your thoughts about the community are so low (and honestly I've never seen you contribute anything positive to it) then you can obviously get the "great information" without dabbling in it.
Here you go, here's your bone, go eat your bone, good troll.
neuropolitique put it best...

I HAVE looked endlessly for it, intvsama. I came here as a last resort.
Listen, I'm sorry I bumped so much and so needlessly. I'm new here.
It's obvious no one here can really help me much... but thanks to those who did try and do so. I appreciate it.

Usenet really may be your best chance but I don't use it myself (not for years anyway). I've found some hard to find pirate original games through simply drilling through Google. Be sure to search the usual suspects such as EmuRussia and the like as well as different word combinations.

Asking for teh romz is a no-no here. Your suggestion of UseNet was probably the best you were going to get since you seemed to have scoured everywhere else.
This has degraded just a tad too much for further use.
I know its a little late, but welcome to the forums, Introduce yourself HERE (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5) and stick around. There is all kinds of info and people who know just a tad bit to much for their own good.
