Did you install the drivers it comes with? Xbox port doesn't have drivers on the disc, either, you need to get third party ones for that. I suggest http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html for xbox
edit: here's a link to updated drivers for the converter itself http://www.chinagameware.com/downloadattachment/5291754212d8ba840112d8f5e76a0014/setup_v1.2.zip

Yeah, install the drivers. The same thing happened to me and after the updated drivers from the web site, it worked (and still works) great! The website has terrible English, but it's still easy to find the drivers you need.

I've found that it likes to die on you at random. For some reason my Windows XP stops detecting it after a few days.
Just unplug it and replug it, that fixes it. It's annoying but it works.

I've had ZERO problems with mine. Maybe you guys got bum units? Bigger thread about the GameMon here:

No, my unit works perfectly. It's just that sometimes it doesn't get recognized by Windows, it might just be my crappy motherboard.
I've been looking for an XBox pad, but none that I've found have that special detachable connector so I'm screwed. :p

Works fine with Windows Vista...
Well I've only used a PS2 controller. I do not recall installing any drivers. i think it just worked for me...

Ive already installed the latest V but still nothing works. I can tell it knows the PS2 controlle is plugged in cause the Analog is on. But all that ive seen and done. Heres some extra notes to add on.
• Im using Windows XP.
• My USB Ports are 2.0.
• I've already utilized the Convertor Settings.
• Whenever the PS2 controller is plugged in it randomly appears in the Game Controllers for like 2 seconds and then dissapears.
• The USB Cnvertor is the only USB device in use.
• Whenever i re-install it it says :
Found new Hardware
"USB device"
"USB Composite Device"
"Media"
"Your new hardware is installed and ready to be used"
•When i plug in a USB controller into the USB Convertor it says the controller name but i cant use it as a controller and it doesnt appear in the Game Controllers.
•Also when i check in the Device Manager, the USB controller i plugged into the USB Convertor is listed under Human Interface Devices. But when i put in/out the PS2 controller the Device Menager doesn't refresh and nothing changes.
I've Virtually tried every thing and still nothing works. Doesn't anyone have a solution?:frustrated:

Hi there!
Sorry for hijacking the thread here, but I'm about to acquire a Gamemon steering wheel that has lost its drivers, and can't seem to find their website. As you've been able to locate their site, could you please kindly pass the information on to me? :)
Thank you!

Mine didn't come with a disk. The only problems I faced were the aforementioned XBox doesn't work out of the box, and I couldn't get my Wavebird to work with it. Although, my wireless PS2 controller was fine.
Also, I've tried it under both XP and Ubuntu. Both of them worked without a hitch.

My drama is that the pedals from this set using the generic drivers act as buttons, not as an analogue gradual transition. I don't like spinning wheels in racing games :(

for xbox, use these: http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html if it will work with your wheel, it will let you customize how they register. should, anyway.

... Dude. Those ARE PC drivers. They just let you use your XBox pads on a PC.
