Destination PlayStation news: MGS 4, Dual Shock 3 dated!

According to Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/360906/metal-gear-solid-4-finally-has-a-release-date), Metal Gear Solid 4 will be finally be released on June 12th. An 80GB model of the PS3 bundled with the game and a Dual Shock 3 is also going to be available for $499, it seems. The Dual Shock 3 itself will be available on April 15th to coincide with the release of GT5 Prologue for $55, which is rather pricey IMO. Finally, an awesome new red PSP
bundle (http://kotaku.com/360928/red-psp-comes-stateside-with-god-of-war-summer-bundle) was also shown. I'm glad I held off on buying one, since I'd much rather have this one than the Daxter bundle.

And If I didn't already have a 60gb model, this would be the model I'd buy, in a heartbeat. The red PSP looks nice. Now Sony needs to make a limited edition red PS3 to match it.

Excitement all around. Wasn't a fan of the PSP silk-screening on the Star Wars model, but that really does look nice with Kratos on the back. Too bad the system's not more of a darker red.
