A local arcade nearby is closing shop and is selling its entire stock of arcade games. I went to check it out and found a few of them that I want to pick up.

here's the list:

Tekken Tag Tournament -$80

Guilty Gear XX -$245

Tekken 4 -$247 (dedicated)

Soul Calibur -$100

Demolish Fist -$252 (dedicated atomiswave)

...all games are in great condition. just wondering if these sound like good prices. It sounds like its too good to be true...

Even if they're broken, those are good prices. Don't forget to try and talk him down on the prices if you buy more than one.

I've been trying to find great deals on arcade cabs in the area and I haven't found anything even remotely close to that. Definately get the Tekkens and Soul Caliber.

I don't know a lot about arcade machines, but if they work and are in good condition, it sounds like a good deal to me.

Good Luck!

I'll hold him down for you, in case he wakes up.

...those are the cabinets and everything, you're not talking about just boards, right?

Those sounds like the same prices I've been getting a slew of cabinets for lately ;)

Just saw this posted on Neo-Geo.com. They got some sweet deals, sadly no more Namco Centers on Long Island. All of the New York locations are upstate and the rest are in Jersey.

If I had room for a cab, I'd jump at ANY of the fighters just for the JAMMA connections. Just swap the game to something better. Can't beat that for 100 bucks!

Okay, I'll elaborate on why those are good deals.

1. Where I live, no one is selling Cabinets. I had one chance earlier this month, and its the first chance I've had in 3 years. The guy wanted $500 for a beat up Neo-Geo cabinet and when I got there, it stopped working.

2. Most of the cabinets on ebay cost over 350 just for shipping.

3. No one in about a 200 mile radius of where I live has any cabinets for sale, and they wouldn't be 80 bucks.

4. All of the above reasons make me want to murder you for asking if those are good deals. I've been trying to get my hands on all those cabinets for a long time for that price.

Hey DreamTR, don't you live in Tennessee? If you ever sell any 4-6 button cabs, let me know as I live in AL.

I've tried buying from namcoarcade.com they had Tekken Tag for around $99. I sent them a list of games I wanted and received a call back telling me I'll get a email when the units are available....about a month later I received a message telling me that all the games I ordered were already sold out and that 99% of the game listed on their website were unavailable...I later found out that's because they never update their listings.

Well, they never call anyone back at namcoarcade.com. I'm surprised you got a call back! It's one guy missing his secretary, so I found out how to get all the games through "other" sources. Needless to say, I've been pretty busy the last month.

lol, not to skip the subject here or anything but namcoarcade.com does not know the meaning of customer service! After receiving a call from them, the guy asked me to send an email listing the games I wanted to purchase. I sent him the email and a week later he claimed that he never received the message...so I sent another email to him and a week later the same thing happened again, "I did not receive your message". Over a month and six sent emails later he calls me back to tell me that he has now just noticed the emails I have sent him. He tells me that he forwarded the emails to the local seller which should take another 2 months to receive a reply...(sigh)and I never did get that reply.
