Component Switch Boxes

I just got a Switch box yesterday at Gamecrazy for $20, I got everything hooked up to the TV..Component,Video Yellow & S-Video

Input 1: Xbox - Component
Input 2: PS2 - Component
Input 4: SNES - S-Video

But when I hook up AV up to Input 3 nothing...

Probably a bad port. Can you get any type of video out of #3 or is just the component messed up?

Take it back and get another one is the most likely solution, or fork out the cash for the Pelican System Selector Pro which still stands as one of the best switchers on the market.
