I was just thinking back about all the games that I have had lost through the post office and wondering what ever happened to them all. Here are some of the most mentionable post office losses:

Peek-a-Boo Poker (NES) - I picked this game up at a local shop for $4.99 and since I already had a copy promptly turned it around on eBay for $350. Well, the buyer had bought insurance so through much hassle he got all his money back.

Astyanax Prototype (NES) - I picked this game up in a trade for a Hot Slots cart and after I sold it on eBay it never reached its destination. The buyer waited about 3 months after the auction ended to let me know he had never received it and there was no insurance on this package. **This was mailed at the same time as Peek-a-Boo.

Tooth Protectors (2600) - I bought this cart off eBay around Christmas and received a delivery confirmation # but never a package. Package did not have insurance and the PO refused to pay any claims since they did not feel the proof of the items value was valid.

So, what have you lost?

That one was $100 even with free shipping so it wasn't that awful.

I bought a copy of Dungeon Explorer 2 (US) for the Duo for $100 off eBay....when I got it, the Priority box was half open and some of the metal was physically scraped off the top of the disc! :( Fortunately, I had it covered by insurance and managed to get a replacement..now I have a spare box and manual..the PO took the damaged disc for proof or I would have had it framed or something!

As for packages I've sent, only one ever got lost, and it was this Xmas. I sent a Game Gear TV Tuner to Washington and apparently it never arrived. No insurance, and all the other ones i sent the same day got there, so I don't know what happened. Had to refund half of the lady's money. Sucks.

i sent a cashier's check to spain that never arrived, i cancelled it though and sent a new one which arrived.
those are the only things i've ever lost in the mail.

Nick,

I think it's been asserted that you have the worst PO in the history of man. MOVE :)

I lost a loose Action 52 for $40 to the mail.... either that, or the seller was lying to say he never sent it. Bah.

Otherwise, I've gotten everything sent to me, and everything I've sent has made it to their destination.
