Well, there was Aladdin's Castle, but that closed. That, I believe, was the only "real" arcade left in the city. Last I heard, 6th Ave. Cards and Comics shut down as well. That was another good place to play. Now, the only places within the city are Chuck E. Cheese's or other resturant with overpriced-bad-arcades in them (like Firestone Pizza).

The two places I go every now and then that are actually somewhat fun are Country Springs in Pewaukee and Mineshaft in Hartford. Country Springs is right off of I-94, so it's a quick drive from the city. They at least have a DDR machine, which is fun every now and then. I haven't been there for a while, so I don't know if they changed out any machines. Mineshaft is a bit of a drive, but it's probably the best place (that I know of) that at least has a pretty large variety of games. It takes me about 35 - 45 minutes to get there, and I'm in Brookfield.

There is also Landmark on the Eastside. I haven't been there in forever, so I can't really speak for what they have/how it is. I think my friend bartends there now, so I might head down there soon.

That's what I know of for the city. I would also like to know of other places, cause I really only know these couple I mentioned. Other people know of more??

Yeah, if it's still there.

Aladin's Castle on 76th near Southridge Mall. There is some pretty good competition too last time I checked. I remember gettin my butt whupped by several pre-teens in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. They also had some nice Tekken tournaments back when 3 hit the arcades. I haven't been there in like a year though.

All of the others seemed to go belly up round here.

PM if you need some better directions...

Also forgot about Paul's Arcade in Racine by Regency Mall (I think). I have never been there, but I know a bunch of my friends that played at Aladdin's Castle now go there. It's suppose to be pretty good. I talked with the owner a couple times over e-mail in trying to help him secure a new arcade cab., but he decided to get something else. He seemed pretty cool, though. That's another place to check out

I'll concur with the landshark. I'd guess they have at least 25 games, 5 pinball machines, ddr, bowling, beer. etc. what else you need?

Better parking, not such a shitty area (I'm getting sick of Milwaukee being down here for school everyday for three years), and non-smoking.

I do agree they have a lot to do, which is good. I'm also not trying to sound like a jerk, just that those are my gripes with the place. Other than that, yay bowling and DDR!

If you're up for a drive north, I know that Gillian's on the east side of Green Bay used to have a pretty decent selection, but bear in mind that my Green Bay knowledge is now almost a decade out of date, so I don't know if Gillian's is still around, or her arcade for that matter.

eh, parking aint so bad. you can park at the library 1 block away, or if you want to waste 1 of your quarters on a meter use the parking lot behind beans and barley. then you just have to walk through the alley and you're there.

i don't know where you're from, but last time i checked that part of the east side hardly could be categorized as a 'shitty area'.

The Aladdin's Castle on 76th has been closed for quite some time. I stopped there one day last year and everything was gone...it was like it never existed.

If you're willing to drive about an hour north to Sheboygan, they have a fantastic arcade at the Blue Harbor resort. I'm talking lots of deluxe games; Daytona 2, DDR Megamix, Top Skater, etc with all of this fancy dark blue lighting around the whole place......and, as an added bonus, after getting sweaty on DDR, you can take a dip in the indoor water park!
