I would like to Dante from Devil May Cry because he is a real ladies man, he has great hair and a cool jacket. He also has a kick ass sword and is half demon.

Very excellent reasons to be Mario. I like them all. But what about having a girl who can't go to the super market without being kidnapped? That would kinda blow.

Aside from that Mike Jones from the StarTropics games (the first being my favorite NES game) or Young Will from Illusion of Gaia (my all time favorite video game). Both are characters I related with near instantly. And of course Taizou Hori, you know - the Dig Dug guy. :D
