I have a 'Memory Disk Drive' for the PS1, its a 3.5 floppy drive that plugs into the ps1 memory card slot. Unfortunately I have no power supply for it, does anybody know the volts/amps for this device? There is no company name on the outside but the circuit boards labelled Datel.

Sorry to comment on this with no real help ... I just wanted to comment that during my years with Funcoland, I came across about 4 of these things.

I believe 2 were shipped to us new for retail, and 2 came in as potential used trade-ins.

Every single one of them was non-functional.

At the time the ability to use 3 1/4 floppy discs (and potentially transfer saves to a PC HDD similar to a Dex Drive - which hadn't been invented yet) was a VERY attractive prospect ... sadly, I've never seen one in action. SO if you DO get it running with an AC and verify that it works, I'd LOVE to see some video of it and how it works.
