When you boot up the PS2 and go to the video options you have 3 choices: Full, 16:9, and something else 4:3 maybe? If I have a 16:9 tv should I choose that or full? When I choose 16:9 it gives me a letterbox effect and when I choose Full it fills up the entire screen without anything looking stretched. I know I'm lazy and just need to play around with the settings more but if anybody else has perfected their settings I'd love some feedback.

Also, how is the RGB? I'm guessing for games that don't do 480p it looks better like ICO.

I think you are talking about the picture just on the idle screen. not playing a game correct?

IRRC, the game will fill fit your screen as it is supposed to once you boot it. If you have a widescreen TV, you will want it to be set up for it. I have not played ICO yet on. I can say that all the other games I have played looked pretty damn good on my TV.

16:9 will always look better for a standard widescreen tv!

Don't forget that you have to hold triangle and X while the game boots to get widescreen for some games.

RGB is nice, there are a few games like God of War 2 that look excellent.
