Well, it seems like we are getting closer and closer to soft-core porn in video-games (are we there yet?). There's a new series of games coming out in Japan called Virtual View.
Using a technique called Motion Engraving, which utilizes multiple cameras at different angles for the same scene, the Virtual View series will let players change to one of 16 different angles for each... well each whatever it is you're supposed to do in the game... with one of the PlayStation 2's analog sticks.

I have no problem with games that feature real people but can't stand it when people go crazy over cartoon characters. It's just so stupid. >:(

Hmm... I'm a pretty creative guy (http://www2.gvsu.edu/~brittedg/fiddlinmania.jpg) but from the screenshot, I really can't think of what the game elements could possibly be. Maybe you're a softcore porn director, and you have to try and keep the camera on the "money shot" or something. In any case, pehaps this article I found will cure your addiction. ;-)

Christ, this game looks like a cross between Night Trap and the Make Your Own Video series. When are game companies going to learn that games like these don't work (no matter how much skin they show)?
I hope it gets released in the US. ;)

Ever seen any of the "dating" or majhong games for PC Engine or Saturn? Granted we're talking anime here, but they've had soft-core games in Japan for a long time.

Hey, I can deal with a guy getting decapitated by a helicopter with close-up shots. But going into extreme detail about girls having sex and oozing discharges onto a secretional pad and not changing their panties or taking a shower for three days is friggin sick. Keir, we're talking a LOT more than smell here.
On a side note, did ANYONE get the adult 3D0 games? Softcore porn has been around since the Atari, this isn't anything new :P (Hell, the atari had hardcore porn technically, it was just hard to tell from the graphics, lol)

On a side note regarding DOA Volleyball, did anyone see the April GamePro magazine's Lamepro spoof? It's AARP Xtreme Beach Volleyball...the women are from the game "Dead Or About To Be" and can use the prize money to buy adult diapers, support hose, muumuus, etc.

I got one of the 3DO Adult Titles. The name of it is The Coven. I thought it would actually be a game with adult content but it turned out to be a REALLY soft-core porn title. I think I might have seen a nipple near the end just before the credits.
