Ahh, Ghost... a timeless classic. Or at least timeless anyway... Blizzard has yet to officially pull the plug on this one, but it hasn't been in development since December of 2005.

It looks like the game was built on at least 3 different engines, which makes sense considering the development history. I have a boatload of concept art, and a boatload of screenshots. I'm going to split the two up so it doesn't kill my server.

I can't help but to think this game has a cool concept behind it if it were to be given to the right people. I think that's the only thing that keeps the project "alive".

There are 59 pics in this set, roughly 12 mb. Not remotely safe for 56k...

If Blizzard was smart, they'd release an XBLA or PSN version of the original Starcraft, then release Starcraft: Ghost as a complimentary title (or vice versa).

Like Capcom is doing with Bionic Commando....

Alot of people still seem to want Ghosts.

Awesome stuff. I was really looking forward to the game once Swinging Ape Studios started working on it and have always been a bit bummed that they've gone deep under the radar. I'd love to have seen what their version was going to turn out to be.... Starcraft Ghost always seemed to be one of those ones that "got away". Seems like Blizzard fans are always more up in arms over that abortion of a Warcraft Adventure game with the abysmally bad artwork and animation, though... :(

Hopefully they move the game off the backburner and back into active development at some point. Lord knows it could totally pan out with the right guys behind it.

Once Starcraft II is released, maybe. Or will it be after World of Diablo? I just don't know about Blizzard anymore. Thanks for the pictures.

Out of curiosity, has anyone been saving any of the artwork i've been posting?

Reason I ask, the whole point of posting all of this without watermarks or advertising is so that this stuff doesn't get lost with time. A lot of this stuff has never been published and it'd be a shame to have all of this artwork disapear 5 or 10 years down the road...

I realized even i don't have copies of some of the artwork i've posted after I had a hard drive failure last year.
