hey guys,
I'm in the market for a sweet motorcycle racing game, anyone have some good suggestions? I have every system, and a great PC.
I tried MotoGP 07 for PC and it's pretty freakin' awesome... but is there any motorcycle game out there thats considered the best? I know Ps2 has a tone, as well as xbox360.
what you guys think?

MotoGP 2 for Xbox is the best. After MGP2 the series went downhill because they took out the sim option and made the games more arcadey and easier to play.
If you don't care about playing sim though, than the 360 MotoGP games are the way to go.
Though not current gen by any means, the Road Rash games have always been my favorite as far as motorcycle games go. I really hope the rumors of a PS3/360 version turn out to be true.

There needs to be a Road Rash PS3 game.

Motoracer 2 for the PC!!! Best motorcycle/Dirtbike game I have ever played! It also had a very intuitive track editor. My brother and I had hours of fun with this one.

I was a big fan of Excitebike 64 back in the day...one of my favorite N64 releases. Lots of fun multiplayer.
And, of course, nothing beats a good 2 player game of Excitebike on NES with the track editor used to make completely ridiculous stuff. Is Excitebike on the Wii Virtual Console?

True! Exitebike 64 was an unbelievable sequel that justified its absence from the SNES era... but it still didn't keep me from wondering what a SNES installment might have been like.

I guess I am the only one thinking Pocketbike Racer?
Motocross Madness 2 for the PC is still an amazing game.

I've always wanted to try Tourist Trophy. How does that stack up against the other motorcycle sims?

My mate who [U]loves[U] driving games (& driving) loves the MGP series, for me, it has to be Road Rash (and motocross madness is v fun too)

As a sim, it's decent. Basically Gran Turismo on 2 wheels. But it would have been a lot better though if it wasn't for the awful controls. A lot of times, you'll find yourself trying to hold down 4 or 5 different buttons, all at the same time. And this is when using the default automatic transmission controls. I imagine it'd be much worse when using manual transmission.

Road Rash II for sega genesis was awesome! It had some sweet tunes man! the same can be said for Excitebike 64.. Nintendo really should of made a gamecube version.. perhaps they like to skip a generation with that series... I hope Excite truck wasn't it =)
anyway, I'm looking for something modern. I really want to know which Moto Racing game is still played the most online, and has the biggest community.

I hear the team responsible for Excitebike 64 made Nitro Bike for the Wii ....
... and while I haven't tried it, the reviews are enough to keep me from anytime soon.

For whatever reason, my favorite has always been Motocross Maniacs for the original, old-school GB.
