Super Smash Bros Brawl Friend Codes (Saturday Night Fights!)

Welp lets start a thread up for friend codes. i'll try to keep up with the posts and make a list of them all.

Some clarification is needed your consoles friend code is different from you actual smash brothers code. when you connect online within the game you will get a 12 digit number, not a 16 digit number like what you get for messaging for your wii.

Saturday night fights a.k.a. Brawling After Dark (BAD). There will be fights all night and i expect them to start around 9/10 EST.

I added everyone, however I can never do With Anyone matches, I have only been able to do a match with a friend because I get an error code due to the servers, alot of people have this problem.

Anyone else lagging so much that it's unplayable? I know it's not my connection, because everything else is working fine. I figured they'd have server problems, but not to that extent.

I had trouble with the anyone matches earlier. I kept ttrying and finally played a couple of games and against someone else and 2 CPU players. No lag at all, but it takes a while to find a match. I also got the occasional error code message even though my wi-fi is up and running.

BTW, if you are having trouble with playing online where you get people to join but are dropped, try changing your MTU in the Wii Internet settings to 1500. Worked for me.

What exactly is MTU and what does it do? Was that an option that showed up after one of the Wii's firmware updates? (I don't remember seeing it when I initially explored the Wii's option pages.)

It's in your connection settings as you scroll through them along with security method/password, etc... It really really made a difference on my Wii.

I got hard lined today, and tried 4-5 basic brawls. Still a little laggy, but maybe friends matches will be better. I think Chris and Wisesalesman have added me so far, I've added like 24 people so far, and will add the newly updated people here.

I was finally able to get a chance to play it through my router. A couple matches were lagcentric (a four-player one I got into just didn't move at all) and I got that 'control delay' problem a few times but it was great most of the time. Also got my butt whooped alot (aside from the times I used ROB, guess I'm good with him)

I'll add everyone tomorrow. I'm gonna go and see where I can buy a USB-to-USB connector for a wired connection.

I had some nasty lag at first myself. But I ended up hardwiring my system into a switch. It runs 100% smoother then the WiFi. I still get lag on the 4 mans but.
