Just curious to hear what everyone would love to have if money was no object and everything from Mario prototypes to a Sega Neptune were available. Of course the object must have been available in one form or another at some point to be eligible for the list.

I've been pretty fortunate I think in gaming (owned silvergun and so much more rare expensive stuff and just lots of stuff in general) anyway here are mine:
Shenmue 3 and on (I'd fund the series haha)
Neo Geo big red cab six slot with all or most of the games
alienware gaming rig and laptop for when on the go away from rig
a real pinball machine (or several)
These are things I find difficult to obtain everything else is possible

Sega Super GT. Even better would be 2 of the motion type systems so my sife and I can duke it out again.
I bet when they had it at Wal Mart here we spent over $500 racing each other.

Obviously your list is missing a ParaPara machine and KeyboardMania! I took ITG2 off my list for Galaxian 3 :(
Heh, those are off my list for good reason. I suck at piano, so I could live without the Keyboardmania. And even though I play DDR, ParaPara is still way too fruity for me. Ironic, isn't it?

You could spend all day picking up PC-Engine related stuff; my favorite is the Sharp X1 Twin with built-in PCE, or maybe the PC-LT, or the monitor with a PCE built in (of course buying old monitors isn't a good idea).
Game Boy Light...that's been mentioned...
Personally if money were no object, I would find a way to do the following things, by throwing lots of money at people:
1.) Get some modern monitors made with connectors for old computer systems - or convert some modern monitors to do that, same thing really.
2.) Get some unreleased games made, like a vertical shooting game that apparently was demoed by Konami in Japan once in the late 80s but was never released (sorry, don't remember the name - it kinda seemed like a sequel to Ajax, and even had a flyer produced).

Not sure I'll get to 10, here's what I'm thinking off the top of my head:
-Ms.PacMan/Galaga Cocktail (I swear I remember this existing)
-NWC (a complete NES collection, actually)
-NES test cart or 2... or 10
-a Wii (my father in law's is the only I've ever seen)
-Chase the Chuckwagon and Pepsi Invaders, and maybe some other proto's
-complete Vectrex collection, all pieces complete
-Same w/ Virtual Boy
-All of the Game & Watch products
-That D key promo item (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106453&highlight=promo) that CaptainJ is looking for, just to tease him with (and then give to him), just 'cause his dedication is impressive.

Arcade games mostly, due to cost.
-Star Wars environmental cab - 'nuf said
-Sinistar environmental cab - 'nuf said
-Discs of Tron stand up cab - 'nuf said
-Millipede cab - one of my favorite games. Not too expensive, I'll probably get one at some point.
-CIB 5200 Bounty Bob Strikes Back - I'm trying to do my 5200 collection CIB, and this is going to be tough.
-Vectrex - not rare or super expensive, I just can't justify the $ at the moment.
-A huge TV for modern gaming - I like my 32" Olevia, but a ten foot screen would be nicer for some games :)
-?
-?
-?
I'll have to think about the last three...

I don't think Itchy and Scratchy was actually released for the Genny. There is a ROM floating about, and there's the playgen site guy, who has made it on to a cart and done a proper box and manual for it, if you really wanted it.

Hence the "impossibility to find" in the thread title, methinks. ;)

1. The original illustrations/painting of the covers for a few of my favorite games.
2. A few years back Nintendo commisioned a swordmaker to create a replica of the Master Sword to use as a promotional item for the then upcoming Wind Waker. It ended up on ebay eventually where it sold for around 3 or 4 grand. That would have been pretty cool to have in the living room.
3. The etched crystal Vic Viper prizes given out at the Gradius V tournament.
4. The Chu Chu Rocket Dreamcast, wish I still had a picture.
5. Planet Harriers arcade cab
6. Original Revenge of Death Adder arcade cab.
7. Elemental Gearbolt Assassin Case
8. Tournament edition Bangaioh for DC
9. Journey Home Prototype SNES
10. CIB Rendering Ranger R2 for SFC

My collecting has ground to a halt. I'm concentrating on enjoying what I have--I have tons and tons and don't need any more.
BUT...
There are two (groups of) things that I would still get in a heartbeat if money were no object.
1. The Casio PV-1000 and Casio PV-2000 game systems and all of the games.
2. Every video arcade and pinball game listed in this post: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1202902&postcount=18

I remember bidding on this years ago on Ebay (like 1999-'00). Think it ended up selling for $200. Still kinda pissed off I didn't win it but at least the rom is out there.
