View Full Version : GBA Castlevania Double Pack variant?

I seem to be seeming a lot of the blue-box version of the Castlevania Double Pack hereabouts, but the one I received in a trade a while ago is black.

I'm thinking one of them is the Euro version and one of them is the US version; after all, it isn't too impossible to see Euro versions hereabouts. Or is there something else different between them?

The picture on the left doesn't show up. The picture on the right is European box art (notice the lack of ESRB, a different European rating instead.)
And I am shuffling this over to Modern Gaming

The black one is indeed the US version. I own both and there isn't anything that sets them apart, at least if I haven't missed anything.

I've never seen the blue box, but the black box is quite common. Then again, a local Gamestop once sold the European versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Anything can happen.

Blue Box is quite common over here in Australia. I had a couple of copies of it but I sold em a couple of weeks back.

Oh yeah, I always forget the extra languages. I always play in English so I don't bother with the language settings.
My most games are Euro versions of course so I tend to forget that countries outside Europe don't have extra languages available.

Say, I just noticed the cover on my manual from the Black version was stapled on the wrong way - the Harmony of Dissonance side appears on the Aria of Sorrow side and vice versa. Is that also usually the case?
