As suggested by Joe himself, I'm posting here the link to the small article I've made about my visit to Joe's shop in Clifton, NJ.
Enjoy!

article on GameSniped (http://www.gamesniped.com/2008/03/10/the-digital-press-shop/)

It has been a great but hard day. While all the others that came in the USA with me just made a trip to Tiffany in NY and spent the whole day there, I made a long walk to Joe's shop.
If you check the "Shops from the World" cathegory, you'll even find another shop I've visited while in NY.

Judge by yourself ;)

Awesome article... I can't wait to see it when I get into the area.

You are one dangerously sexy motherfucker in that last photo. You've got the whole porn star look / pose going on there.

Fun read...makes me really wish I could make it out to the DP store sometime.

Digital Press shop : USA market = Super Potato : Japanese market

Best Analogy ever!

I'm happy you enjoy the article, but I'm sure that you'll enjoy much more a visit there. If I only didn't have to take a plane...soo many cool USA items that I usually see only on eBay and on the net...

As for the DP-Super Potato analogy, I've seen both, so that's the first thing that came in my mind when I saw the shop, and the basement.

And thanks for the porn star thing, I feel so sexy now that I'll start posting pics of me naked like the Digital Press pinup. You know, like a picture with a coleco hiding my nipples...

Don't you dare hide those nipples.

I really want to go to the shop. Really bad. It's pulling me to study art in NY in a school that's ridiculously expensive. A job would be even better there but I doubt anyone would hire a metal face like me since I scare kids and old ladies.

Nice article, well written and I loved the basement. Also, you look like my computer stuff/math teacher.

Great article, entertaining day-in-the-life-of-awesome stuff, but one sentence...doesn't bother me but it did something to me:

Fourth problem: my mother was curious to see how the NJ was and decided to follow me.
See, the use of "the" before "NJ" says something about Europe. And America. Their relationship. It's like I'm going to see "the new Jersey, it's not as legendary or old as the original, but perhaps it's nearly as good or something. If you're especially nice they'll let you feed the penguins, too"

Am I warm here? Forget the judgement part, I'm just curious if that's meant to be "the New Jersey." Or just a typo.

Dying to know...anyway, quite glad you liked the trip, too bad we don't have any reason to bring you to Michigan, at the moment, unfortunately.

Oh, I didn't notice how I've used "the" in that sentence! I don't know why but my mind leads me to write it when I use an acronym. I mean, if I wrote New Jersey, I wouldn't have used "the". With NJ it comes natural to my mind. So it's just a mistake :P
I'm sorry. Going to edit it :D

Nooo, my precious (okay not so much) joke is now moot :D

You won't hear me saying that you old world types don't have a sense of humor, however! :)

Pffft. I'm in Maine, and I've been to the store umm... four times now?

And I'm really lovin' watching all the men hitting on Nicola here. It's hot.

At first, I've received some "friendship proposals" on this and other forums due to my name. In Italy it's a male name. In THE USA it's more suitable for a girl.

Oh, my idea is to make an article every time I visit a good shop.

Ok, I tried to take a picture on a nipple.

Beware, next picture may be disturbing.

I agree! That was a great article! :)

I can't wait for my spring break, which is less than 2 weeks away. I'm only 2 hours away from the store (I live in Northern DE.) I plan on making my first of hopefully many visits to the store! I've already got the address plugged into my GPS. ;)

No no no, I'm quite sure all the people making the comments in this thread knew you were a boy (you did, after all, post your picture!). That's part of what's amusing me so much. But nothing made me laugh out loud like your nipple picture. You're a trooper!

There's nothing wrong with some blatantly homosexual humor based on his ridiculously sexy pose in that store photo.

Plus we got a nipple shot out of it.

edit - I didn't even notice what was in the picture with the nipple until I read Daria's post.

I don't know why you find me so sexy. I'm doing nothing special in that picture.
That's my standard pose! Maybe it's due to the Italian clothes, my unshaved face...anyway when Raj brought me in the basement, during my visit, nothing happend. He was hot too, but, you know, I still prefere girls, even if they don't like videogames that much.

Seacaus Junction is a lovely station, but a clusterfuck to navigate. Least now I know the train that goes over there and what the front of the store looks like!

Anyhow, very cool article, Nicola.

Why, you've missed all the other pictures showing the front of the store somehow over the past two years?
