Anyone else have this problem? In my many trips shopping for games my car's trunk has become home to the many items I buy but never really needed or wanted. Right now I have a snes, n64, ignition dance pad, super scope, a couple plug n plays, and a few random xbox/ps2 titles as well as many non-game items. All of them have been in there for awhile (i think the snes has lived there for more than a year). I look in there everytime I buy something and think I should bring them inside but I never do it. I guess it is a good thing my car has a massive trunk.

I've had a few electronics die a very ugly death in the trunk of my old car ... between the bitter cold and the outrageous heat of New Jersey, it's not a place that I store anything delicate anymore.

My luck the car is getting stolen if I ever I dare to store things in it.

I doubt anyone would ever imagine anything valuable in my car, a 90 Mercury Grand Marquis thats beat to hell, rusty, with a taped up tail light, but that thing is a tank though.

One of my collector friends used to keep an extra SNES with hookups and two or three games in his trunk, in case he was hanging out at someone's place and they liked the idea of playing some SNES. It didn't get stolen or damaged, but he had to take it out of the trunk one day and never put it back in.

Currently my trunk looks like the Sports Authority.

I used to have an old NES and a TRS-80 CoCo 2 in the trunk of my old car, along with a couple bags of soda cans that I could never motivate myself to take to a recycling machine. But that car died, so I was forced to clean it out. Now I just have an old plug and play in my back seat.

I stopped at a supermarket on the way home from a thrift where I bought a boxed Colecovision. It was sitting in my back seat. When I came out, there was a guy around my age staring through my window at it, looking like he'd give anything to get his hands on it. He got in his car and drove away as I walked up. Made me wonder how safe leaving something like that where anyone could see it really is.

My truck is filled with games to trade, I am just too lazy to clean it out...

I used to keep an xbox and a PS2 wired into the trunk in my old car. I had a 7in LCD in the cab. I velcro'd both consoles down and they never really seemed to move around. Games loaded off the hard drives, i never really had any problems with bumps like i thought i would.

Since sometimes I can't find a place for the stuff I buy, I keep some games, systems in my car until I find a free space at home.

I probably would keep a bunch of stuff in the trunk of my truck...if my truck had a trunk that is.
