so far I have played several maps online, and this is a sick fightemup and killemup online for 8 people..... there are 4 modes, bum rush, deathmatch, team deathmatch and Crime scene, so far crime scene is the best, but they all ROCK, there are tons of melee weapons, I guess its kinda like a dark SICK fps version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl...LOL... Anyway, the crime scene mode is 4 bad guys hide and protect the evidence, and 4 good guys try to find and kill the badguys, while salvaging the evidence. I gotta say I like this game, I initially bought it with the intent of playing the campaign, but so far the online has me hooked, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this one, or rent it. Anyone else pick this one up?

I can't wait to play it, It is going to be freaking sick and I'm sure it set a new standard for "Survival Horror"!

Wow! I loved the 1st Condemned ... even though it was critically hailed at the launch of the 360 ... I still think it was kind of under-rated for it's overall simplicity.
I was kind of half-following the sequels development, but somehow completely missed that it had a online play mode!!
That's good to know that it's fun! This one was already on my radar, and now doubly so.
I was going to pick it up today for PS3, since you know it's been advertised as being released, but apparently I was foolish to believe so. It turns out PS3 owners will not be able to own the game until next week, for whatever reason the game was delayed and they didn't bother telling anybody until the day of it's original release.
Oh well, I guess it's better off since it will be closer to payday for me, so I won't have to worry about being low on dough.

I'm going to pick up the PS3 version when it finally comes out. I'm tired of the 360 dying.

this game is a blast, i have to say, some of the online fighting, is like a FPS version of MK, complete with finishing moves... niice...:-)
I just picked this game up today for the PS3 and so far it's pretty damn good. It took a bit to get used to the combat system, since you're left to figure some things out on your own (like running and kicking), but I got the hang of it by the first real mission. From what little I've played and seen from the first (about the first 3 or 4 missions), they really improved on the combat system, atmosphere and game play.
I've got to hand it to Sega, they've got one hell of a franchise here and it's sure going to raise the bar for future survival horrors. I just wish they ported over the first Condemned before hand and released it at a budget price, but that'll probably never happen.

I'm pretty sad that Greg Grunberg (LOST/Heroes/Everything J.J. Abrams does) didn't/couldn't return to repirse the voice of Ethan Thomas. :(

Played the demo last night and I was a bit disturbed by the gameplay. I was kind of shocked at the same time cause of the realistic beatings you can give someone...

Wow, this game has multiplayer? Never knew that.
Hopefully more companies take notice. Great single and multiplayer is what all games need. I take it there is no split-screen offline?
Think i'm gonna have to go out and snag me a copy of this.
I'm anxiously awaiting "Borderlands" myself.
