Not sure how many people out there have played (or enjoy) this PSN PS3 download, but my wife is addicted to it. For her, it is the one thing that justified my PS3 purchase, believe it or not :)

She beat the game early on of course, and hasn't really touched it since. The online is sketchy, and she never really got into that all that much. Well, I was just on the PSN store and noticed a pay update for the game. Adds a bunch of new vehicles, levels and so on. Changed the title to "Toy Home - 2nd Gear" as well...heh.

We had a bit of a fight earlier...maybe this will make up for it :) I admit, I kind of enjoy the game myself. I did like the idea of online battles, but it was just choppy and slow. Maybe this update will change that. I did see that it now allows four players at a time. Might be interesting...

I like the fact that these games can be updated/added to. I am personally waiting for a SUper Stardust HD update myself!

A buddy and I spent a good amount of time on the demo and it just left me wishing that they'd left the gimmick at the door and retained some normal analog controls instead of the forced motion controls. The physics engine / scoring system / level structure is so fucking good that it really does make struggling with the controls worthwhile, but I really wish that the controls weren't ever an issue in the first place.

If they ever patch in normal analog controls, I'll totally buy the full game and every damn expansion they release for it.

My thoughts exactly. I downloaded the demo the other night and found the controls to be awkward as hell with the faster car, then I decided to use the other one and started to get the hand of the controllers. While I did find the game fun as well, I wouldn't purchased it unless you could change the controls to analog, because the whole motion steering can get annoying as hell.
