I have a SMS I, and for the most part it works fine. However the video is acting up a bit. The colors all look correct, but there it appears that there are waves or lines scrolling around on the screen, not interfering with color or graphics, but definately noticeable. It seemed to me that it was just a connection issue or something, however I've tried 2 different RF's and 2 separate televisions and its the same. Any thoughts on what I could try to resolve this problem?

I'm sure somebody here will be able to diagnose that ... I have 3 or 4 SMS1 units and two of them seem to have cooked video output ... they show up on screen with the correct color, but have a much "dimmer", "darker" color output than the other two.
I wonder if that's something related to what you have going on, or if it's something correctable in the same manner.

Have you tried a different power supply? I have one that is very touchy about the P/S. So far it only works with the original official one, though I haven't found a great substitute. I have a P/S (with lower amps) that I know worked with a different SMS unit, but not this particular one. I dunno, might be worth a shot.

For starters, ditch the RF and use an A/V cable.
