This has been sold.

I have for sale a laptop that was purchased 13 month ago, used for three hours at maximum, then stored until now. I'm looking to sell it at a good price to avoid ebay. I don't know what price to ask for now, if anyone could let me know what it is worth, I would be very grateful. That means send me your offers for the time being. This has a few scuffs, but is otherwise mint. It was only used for a few minutes at a time for a few days, then stored away.

Anyway, here are the stats:

Acer Aspire 9410Z
Vista Home Premium Installed
Includes laptop and charger only (no discs or documentation)
17 inch screen
CD/DVD-R/W drive
microphone and headphone jacks (and another I can't identify)
4 usb ports
s-vido and vga out
ethernet and modem ports
memory stick/pro, SD, xD and some other flash memory reader
PCMCIA slot

60GB HD
1GB RAM
Intel dual core 1.6 ghz processor
Built in wireless connectivity
(there might be more important stuff I am forgetting or don't know about, ask if you have questions)

I buy and sell laptops quite a bit and $300 would be an excellent price for a buyer. As a seller you could probably get anywhere from $50-$100 in a more open environment.

That being said, I've found that in an around $300 seems to be the magical price point for a used laptop. Most people that are willing to spend more than that on a laptop will just buy something new. When I first started selling laptops, I sold a couple around that price and then I came into some even nicer ones, more ram, more GHz, bigger HD, etc... I think I'm in for a major score and they only sell for an extra $40 or so. But hey, that's the Bay for ya.
