I'm not sure if everybody knows or not but gamestop is taking pre-orders for a limited edition MGS4. I figured I'd let everybody know because of how the last one for MGS3: Subsistance turned out to be one of the rarest PS2 titles. They make you put down $10 and in total it'll end up costing $85 for the actual set. They haven't really made it known very well so I'm puttin' it out there for anybody who is interested.

here is little write up about what is included in it.

Please lock if there is already info about this in another thread.

Awesome reserving it when the beta is available.

I changed my reserve from the regular edition to the limited edition yesterday. I can't wait for the Saga 2.0 disc and the online beta. I hope they worked the kinks out from MGS3 online. It was fun, but it had some game-breaking glitches for me.

My prediction: There is no way that the MGS4 "Limited Edition" will be remotely close to being truly limited (Your $130 Halo 3 Legendary Edition is still laughing at you).

My MGS3 Subsistence limited edition is laughing at you.

But yeah, I think Konami learned their lesson from the Subsistence LE debacle.

I just preordered it, and just realized that I forgot to ask whether I'm supposed to get anything when I preorder, or just when the game comes out. Do you receive the pre-order bonuses (boni?) when you pick up the actual game? (I almost never pre-order things with boni, so I'm not sure how it works).

Probably right, but until this becomes available for pre-order at other retailers, I am not going to take the risk. Also, it's not crazy expensive like Legendary Edition was and it actually contains stuff I would want in addition to a metal case. As such, it wasn't a tough decision to upgrade for the extra few bucks from the regular edition.
