If you've got a 360 that can get Japanese XBL, Give it a download, and tell the rest of the world how it is.. ;)

Play-Asia is shipping the title this week, so, yeah, it should be officially released by now.

On some you can but not this one. A shame too because I was ready to buy this from Play-Asia if it was.
This isn't getting a US release, is it?

Unfortunately it is very rare a Japanese release works on US systems, but there are a few cases where they do work. UFO published Raiden III about a year ago for the Playstation 2 and I'm really not sure if that company is in the 360 market yet. If so, there would actually be a decent chance of the title being released here. Given the situation of the franchise in the U.S., I wouldn't say there is no chance, but at this moment, there are no official plans to release the title stateside.

damn. I was going to import this one... f$^^& oh well. the demo is of one level and it is freakin sweet... also there is a training mode. I can't beleive this won't come stateside.

Raiden III took a full year to release in the states following its Japanese release. Don't say it's not possible, it's just that with no publisher in the gates right now, it might take a while if someone wants to grab it.

If they region locked it, I bet they're hopeful it will come out over here eventually. They've spoken of wanting to release it here in interviews before.

Raiden franchise has always had strong showing in USA… Raiden Fighters games are always the one shooting game that is found in USA arcades even today.
I have confidence that this will see its way to USA Xbox 360…
However I am impatient and upon having a Japanese 360 on the way in the mail RIGHT NOW (for the upcoming Ketsui) I'll be ording Raiden Fighters Aces now.

After the way that Senko no Ronde aka Wartech tanked in the U.S., I don't think Ubisoft will be bringing here. UFO would be a good company to do it, although we'd probably have another Heavenly Guardian fiasco on our hands.

Yea but most every JPN 360 game is region locked. Where most the US discs will play on a JPN system. Weird, eh?

and outside of modding there is no way to play japanese games on the us 360... damn!!!!
