I have been playing Bully: Scholarship Edition for a week straight now, I just have to say I love this game, but is it just me or are the missions super easy to complete? I find the story to be entertaining though. What do you think?

I went through my Bully addiction a few weeks ago. Yes, hella fun game. I bought the 360 version having briefly played a burn of the PS2 version when it came out. At the time I was involved in something else and didn't give it the attention it deserved.
Bully for the 360 brought out my inner achievement whore as well.

I dunno I honestly couldn't get into Bully. it had that GTAish feel to it like I played it a million times. I guess after playing GTA 3 / VC / SA for like 90+ hours each games like Bully don't appeal to me anymore.
I started playing it yesterday, and it's pretty fun so far. I'm most likely going to go for all the achievements before I send it back to Gamefly, since they're not too ridiculous to obtain like they are in some games.

I had a great time with it. Bully was a much needed, lighthearted take on the open-world GTA formula. I never played the PS2 version, so the 360 release was my first exposure to the game. We have already have a pretty good thread going here...

Awesome game, great addition to the 360's open-world genre of games. Good warmup for GTA IV. That multiplayer free roam mode alone is going to eat up so many hours... never mind single player and all the other online modes.

Has Rockstar patched the very serious glitches reported in this game? I'm not talking about "cheat" glitches. These seem to affect the gameplay, including at it's lightest some sound issues and at its worst locking up the system entirely.
I wouldn't support the game until that's been fixed.

They patched -some- stuff recently, but there's reports that the game is still buggy.
I started playing it after the patch was released, and I've had no issues so far.

I had two lockups in the whole time playing through the game within the first released week. Really, there's shit out there WITHOUT patches that screws up worse.
Also, the slowdown around the office seems to go away after the first chapter anyway. Play ze game. Bullworth needs more heroes.

From whats being reported, the patch to fix the glitches either wasn't fixing everything, or was creating new ones. However from reading around here and a few other places, it seems that its sporadic and tends to happen in the later chapters of the game.

I played it back on the PS2 and see little reason to purchasing it again... I have way to many other games to play. However unlike consolecrusader who couldn't get into bully mostly likely because of already playing the GTA games I found bully to be quite enjoyable even after countless hours in the 3 big GTA games. For comparison, from the start of GTA:SA up until the half way point , I was sick of the series, so being drawn into bully from the start was surprising to me at least.

I'm definitely interested in playing this game, but I have a few questions:
1) I don't really like the GTA games. Sometimes I'll pop in GTA3 and steal a car and run over people and stuff, but I've never really liked doing the missions or playing the game the way that it is intended to be played. However, Bully's story/atmosphere is more appealing to me than GTA's. Does it sound like I might like it?
2) I have both a 360 and a Wii, and depending on where you read, one version is vastly inferior to the other, but no one seems to agree on which one is better. On the whole I prefer my Wii to my 360, but this seems like it would be more of a 360 game. Has anyone played both versions?

I liked it much more than the GTA games - it was nowhere near as serious and had a good sense of humour. I didn't quite click with the atmosphere when I first tried it on PS2, but now that I've revisited it I liked it a lot. I'd buy a sequel.

Couldn't help you there - but the achievements were fun to work for. I've heard the minigames are a little more fun on the Wii.

I thought it was pretty entertaining, well at least at first. Then my ADD kicked in, and I moved on O_o

IGN did a head-to-head on it and gave Bully on Wii the nod due to the controls. The 360 has vastly better sound and graphics but the motion controls on the Wii made it more fun to play. I played it on the PS2 (with the inferior graphics and sound) and enjoyed it a lot, so it's not important to the game. It's definitely different than the GTA games, but if you didn't like doing the missions then, I do doubt you'll find anything different in bully. If you're into the renting thing, give it a shot, if not you may want to think twice a purchase. Best of luck!

Ridiculous. The sections of the game where you would use the Wiimote in some unique fashion are about 1% of the game. What about the other 99% of your actual game time? More "fun" to play...give me a break.

I have been playing it before and after the patch. No problems at all. Had one freeze within one hr. of playiing the game and nothing since. I have an Elite though, I thought I read the problems were mainly with older systems.
And to the OP: Yes I think it is a little on the easy side too, but very enjoyable story. I am still playing it myself, and I have already completed the main story.

So far my wife has been playing this and she likes it, I have to say its pretty fun, ( I had to help her with some parts :-) ) but its fun although the loading can be a bit of a pain, but other than that, I agree this is a great warmup for GTA4....
