Monitor problems G05-802

On my asteroids deluxe monitor I'm getting some blue flashes in the heater. It looks like something may be arcing?? Right now the heater doesn't glow, but the spot killer will turn on if the game is fired up without the pcb. Has anyone had a similar problem or know what might cause a blue flash?

I swapped the tube out with another asteroids tube laying around. Still nothing. I'm waiting on a cap kit and HV diode. I guess I'll have to wait. :(
