OK, so, one of the games that I played as a kid on the Nintendo Entertainment System was Contra Force, the sequel that changed the rules but still manged to be decent. I always really enjoyed playing it.

It's a hard one to find though... in my years of searching I've never come across one in the wild, and the EBAY auctions I've seen tend to get a little pricey.
If someone can manage to sell me one at a decent price, it would for fill a want I've had for a long time. I'm looking to buy it CARTRIDGE ONLY.
Let me know!

what do you consider a decent price? I have one but don't want to sell it. There is one in a store in my area I would pick up for you and ship, but they are asking $40 for it, which is more than I would pay. I found mine in the wild back when it was released at a KB Toys for $10. I never imagined when I picked it up that it would ever be hard to find. Good luck.

Well the DP Rarity Guide lists it as a $15 buy (cart only). I would prefer not paying anything more than $20.
Thanks!

The only way you'll find one for that price, other than getting very lucky in the wild, is if its in terrible condition.

Just keep searching. I found my cart only on ebay for $24 a few years ago. I sold it for $40 once I got a complete in box copy. So if you are patient and vigil, you should be able to score a copy for around $30 or so.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I think once I have some money tucked away I'll pick it up on EBAY. Until then though, if anyone can offer it to me for what I'm asking for, please do! :wink 2:

You can find them for alittle more than $21 but not very often. However, like mentioned above, just be alittle patient.

I find it really amazing how much this game fetches for. I remain confident that one day I'll snag one for $20... but we'll see. I can't imagine paying $25 for an instruction booklet. To each his own!

Good luck finding a copy. I've been looking for one myself as well but I refuse to pay the ebay rates as well. I figure I'll either find it for a price I'm willing to pay or not. I've got enough games I can live without it but it'd be nice to atleast be able to give it a try.
I feel ya about the manual. I bought the game late in 05 for about 30 bucks shipped. I played it, beat it, and held on to it until 07 and sold for 45 shipped. To me, the game's not really worth it. Good luck finding it.

I didn't even know this game existed until I started getting back into Nes a couple years ago. I really wanted to pick this game up, but can't stand ebay. I waited and waited, and eventualy picked it up at a flea market for $2.00 about 6 months ago. What is the point to all this? Just keep looking, you'll eventualy find it.

I feel for gamers that want to find these games on the cheap...the truth is that Nes values have skyrocketed...at least the rare and uncommon stuff. High Demand and low supply=increase in value. The DP guide will be released hopefully this year with updated prices...the old one is sorely outdated. $40 seems fair if the cart is in decent shape. Good luck finding it cheaper.

It's always nice to find out some game in your collection is actually worth more than you thought. This happened to me with Bust A Groove and DDR: Disney Mix.
