Alright so I've went through 2 kick pedals now. The replacement (which felt different from the first) just broke tonight. I'm not bothering with another replacement but am instead gonna spend 20 bucks for an upgrade and am buying a reinforced kickpedal (from amazon) which looks cooler anyway. Its pedal metal. Anyone else have one? I hope it holds up.

I also bought those drumshh silencer things recently (posted about them) very nice makes the kit look cooler and definetly quiets things down some. Here's hoping this pedal works better. This has to be the most expensive and complicated game I've ever owned. Yikes. So fun though and addicting!

Anyone buy different drum sticks? I'm thinking about it next

You can use just about any electric pedal with rockband. It's just a simple switch. I've seen replacements built from sewing machine pedals.

Does Rock Band use a special kind of drumsticks, or can you use any "normal" wooden set?

I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not...

Uh, the sticks are just... sticks.

Well, I wasn't sure. I didn't know if since it was basically technical parts instead of actual drums, if they made special drumsticks as not to harm the internals.
