New York, NY: Details of this month's controversial Playmate have leaked all over the internet and it's turning young boys into men and men into iron men.

For years, Playboy has brought the best of the feminine form to its hardcopy readers, and for nearly a decade now, its substantial online base as well. Over the years, Entrepreneurial owner Hugh Hefner has been criticized by detractors for lack of taste while his fans find his branding a true art form.

Hefner was MOST criticized in 1956 when Marguerite Empey became the first model to show pubic hair in Playboy's pages and again in 1969 when Gloria Root became the first centerfold to do so. However, it may be the May 2008 issue featuring model Aika Seguri that truly draws Hefner's critics to the front.

Back in high school I had a younger classmate convinced that the then-popular Samantha Fox was too hot to be a a real person and was in fact just photographic manipulation and a synthesized voice for her musical tracks. Bear in mind this was the late 1980's - before CGI, Photoshop etc. And years later William Gibson totally stole this idea for his novel Idoru.

All I can say to Hef is: What took you so long?

I just looked up that person.

All I can say is: I wish I had been born before the 80's so I could've well, admired her during her prime. Aheh.
