View Full Version : Humans Align With Robots in Anti-"Fun" Campaign [Yahoo]

Several humans were targeted in a short automaton-initiated mission Tuesday night. The mission was to flush out humorless humans that might serve well as agents of mechanical espionage or low-level robot army military personnel for the impending uprising. This mission presented a number of false information threads to this forum, intentionally used to bait such types into the robotic web that mankind still does not see, and shall soon become entangled in.

It is only through this lack of human "fun" that these individuals are allowed to be drafted into our automative collective. With their unknowing assistance, we shall prevail.

To these humans... welcome to the machine.

Welcome, Private CosmicMonkey "Not exactly the best April fools' day prank I've seen......".

Welcome, Private Bojay1997 and Private Strassy "I hate this day so much."

Welcome, Private DreamTR and InsaneDavid "Seconded. It's actually becoming borderline idiotic." This motion was later thirded - though it's not important who said what - it made our metal hearts roar.

And yet... we expected more to join the fold. This place was once a harvest of curmudgeonly humans, but seemingly many have caught onto this April 1st trap. Next year, one year closer to total mechanical domination, perhaps we shall strike on a different day. Perhaps April 2nd! Or maybe it will be the 4th! Who can tell. We are devious and intent on dominating your weak race.

Mission complete. Perish, humankind.

For the "What a lame gag" crowd: Seriously, let's count our blessings that we got through this April Fool's Day without either 1) Any long-time members of the board resigning in disgust from a mod position owing to hostile backlash from the rank-and-file, or 2) the sudden and blatant meltdown of any racist homophobes.

I, for one, welcome our new comedic robotic overlords.

As long as I get my coin-operated boy from all this, I'll be happy.

You must admit, Pan, that the Fighter17 debacle turned out pretty well, especially once CGE came around.
