So I got a call from Gamestops corperate offices (or I think it would be) from Texas. There was a recording asking to answer a single question reguarding my opinion of Gamestop or press 2 to ignore the message. I was driving at the time a didn't wanna mess with the phone so I denied the question and hung up. First of all, I want to know if anybody else has gotten any of these recordings? and what did you tell them? Secondly, do you think gamestop is going to start changing things around for it to get a better reputation? possibly meeting the needs of so many of the common complaints they hear or read about? If I wasn't driving, I'm all for getting my opinion heard to make gamestop a better store.

It was probably just some sort of markerting survey put out to try and do a bit of damage control after a couple of recent financial reports came out that predicted the EB/GS will have a flat year, with a couple of firms predicting a small drop in profits/growth.

This might make you think that your opinions would really matter, we have to keep in mind that we're the minority for EB/GS customers. Even if all of the "hardcore" people got on this survey and raised a stink about certain practices (ie selling opened games as new) I highly doubt it'd change their business practices.

I actually think the survey would be determining how much more shit EB/GS could get away with in the guise of "cutting costs" while still retaining the high-dollar customers.

Got one a couple months ago. They just wanted me to rate my service I received in the store. Nothing specific like "Would you like us to stop gutting new games?" or "Should we not hire someone just because they can write their name on the applicaiton?"
