I know its a great game and rare but $188.49?

Is this just a couple of overanxious bidders or is this a legitimate price?

That's insanely high. I'd say $30 to $40 is about the average price for a complete one.

The game does not show up complete on ebay often, which is probably why a bid war had started. That is way too high tho. I purchased mine on ebay (after months of searching every day) for $80 buy it now....and that was complete and mint. Keep looking and it'll come up eventually. The only downside of rediculous auctions like this is that it gives the ebay sellers the idea that the game is really worth that much, and you may see buy it now prices increase.

WOW, I actually have this game complete. Hey, when you want it, you want it, and obviously these guys wanted it.

The only reason the auction ended that high is because the seller was willing to ship internationally...

EDIT: although the person who bought it was in the US, so there goes my theory...

A complete copy was listed a day or 2 ago with a BIN of $60 but the seller ended the auction early. I wonder if he got some better offers or realized the BIN was too low and will end up re-listing it.

Anybody that offered to pay him more than his buy it now was posted at needs to stop and think for a second...

"I could buy it now for $60.... OR I could offer $80!"
