Spring cleaning time again.

Here's an easy way to win a complete Sega Dreamcast with all the hookups, a controller, and a small starter library of brand new games. All you have to do to win is "show up" and be a little quicker on the draw than your competition. Like a virtual game of "Outlaw", and you're "the blocky guy on the left"!

It's simple. Be the first person to reply to this topic AFTER 9pm EDT on Tuesday, April 29th with the words "I WIN". If you're the first, the stuff is yours. EZ!

Oh, here's a hint. The forums have a text-based clock that you can see from the main page (it's in the upper left just above the forum titles). That's the "judge's clock". Oh yeah, another hint. Make sure you're logged in! Otherwise you'll be asked to log in when you hit the submit button and those few seconds could cost you the game.

Feel free to ask questions here if the rules are unclear to you, but most importantly, BE HERE for the contest!

Aha! You're not going to trick ME on a technicality my fine feathered friend! That's 9pm EDT. Otherwise, you're perfectly correct.

As for crashing the system, 60 people won't even crack the warning zone, but if 300 or so click simultaneously... CRASH CITY! The rules stand, though - so if we crash and none of those button presses were registered then it's gonna be the first person to chime in after the network connection gets reset!

Normally I'm not a stickler for these things but with this crew? If I say EST someone will show up an hour off of the correct time, thinking that it was some kind of a trick! So EDT it is. Eastern. Daylight. Time.

I honestly don't know. I always thought it was when you hit "Submit" but I don't know that for a fact. You might want to experiment in your next post.

I download at 1.4mb/second from good ftp's, but it still takes a few seconds for DP to load and process the request - so you dial-up's still have a chance.
