Does anybody else use the Wireless Guitar Hero Guitar for Xbox 360 with Rock Band.
I just got one today used, and it works fine except on long notes.
When a long note is played the note will just stop playing as if I took my hand off the keys, but it only happens like 1/3 the time.
Also, I tried it with guitar hero 2 and it didn't do that, as far as I could tell.
Does anybody else have experience using the Wireless guitar, and especially with rock band.
I got it at gamestop so if its faulty I can just return it.
thanks.

We use it all the time with no problems.... might be the guitar?
Exchange policies are a wonderful thing.

It's a problem with the Les Paul's detachable neck. After a while the contacts loosen up and the fret buttons flake out. Return this one and when you get the replacement, don't pick it up or set it down by holding the neck. That is what I was doing until I realized it was causing mine to keep breaking (on guitar #3 right now in less than three months).
If you can't return it, you can try fixing it yourself:

Ditto on that but one thing you can try is to take off the neck and put it back and make sure it's secure.
I had that problem in the beginning and was like wtf.. then I readjusted it and it's been fine so far since Christmas.

If you bought it used, they won't exchange it. I know because I just filed a RMA last week. Says you must include the *original* store receipt with the guitar.

Damn, that sucks.
I wonder if I went and bought a new one from somewhere, and got a gift receipt with it.
then I send in the broken one with the original receipt, and then return the new one with the gift receipt.
You think it will work??

Probably not since most stores only allow you to return unopened games for a refund.
