I noticed that the Nyko Wii Perfect Shot was back in stock at GameStop.com for a total of about $19 shipped, and since those seem to have been going through some major global shortages lately I decided I'd jump on that while I could ... but when reviewing my online receipt I noticed this bit of text ...

"Within the next hour, we will send you a confirmation e-mail verifying receipt of your order. Once your order has shipped, we will send you a second e-mail detailing the contents of your order and tracking information. Your credit card will not be billed until your order actually ships. The packing slip included in each shipment also serves as your receipt and makes a great paper airplane."

Paper airplane eh?

Looks like somebody with a sense of humor was in charge of setting up the order confirmation sheets ...

... now the REAL question is : DOES the packing receipt ACTUALLY make a GOOD paper airplane? I picked the cheap shipping, so I'll have to wait a week or so to find out, but rest assured, I'll report back on that.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't been able to find these anywhere, and some retailers are selling them for $30.

I know ... it's been a really rough month finding one at a reasonable price!

I think it's a testament to the quality of Wii light gun games like Ghost Squad and House of the Dead 2 & 3 return that these are selling so damned well / Nyko had a bit of an issue ramping up for the demand.

These things could be their next "GB Worm Light" in terms of massive sales if good light gun games keep coming on the Wii.

I'm on the edge of my seat wondering about that paper airplane part.

Post details as soon as it arrives!

So Gamestop is basically telling customers to trash their receipts? What if you need to return an item? Please tell me they at least email you a copy too.

No they do not.

They are the UPS sticker lables so their shapes are funny and the sticker cardstock doesn't make for good plane flying. Though my paper plane making skills are poor so I could just not be getting it... like its Space Giraffe or something.
