- supergoldzero: awesome GameBoy camera photos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/12733406@N02/sets/72157604759385146). I love them all, we need to get you to the next level where the photos can be captures on your PC instead of photographed from the PC monitor! I might steal a few of these for the official store page anyway :)
[/url]

Hopefully this will be the last time I will take the pictures off my television for I think the solution to my problem is that I have to use my Gamecube instead of my Super Nintendo since supposedly most systems from the Nintendo 64 down output in the modulated RF signal that my capture device does not like. If I discover this is the case I will just pick up a Game Boy Player alongside the Wii game I am going to buy my Mom for Mother's Day [Too bad Wii Fit won't be out by then but I will improvise :-P] at your store and I will repost April Nava's photos at a much better quality.

I wish we had a store like DP here. We don't have shit here.

I did not know you were TVs Hasselhoff either. I loved the manly grunts you made as you were playing Space Fury Bros!

Those were grunts of determination. Kinda like when Serena Williams plays, except I don't blame others when I lose.

If anyone has any more pictures or video of the Space Fury Bros. Contest I would love to see it. I can't be there so I attend NAVA by reading the post and viewing the pictures. If you have any stories about the contest please post them. Also, If you have any ideas about future games just let me know.

By the way, Did anyone make it to Mr. Cool?

I have a normal version (Standard Lives) of the game that I could make available on cartridge if there was enough interest.

The Space Fury Bros. game was great. I know I got a workout from playing it.

For a future game, have you thought about doing anything with Wizard of Wor or Warlords?

I second and have mentioned Wizard of Wor to Scott in the past. Its ironic that people were playing that game at NAVA after the Space Fury Bros session. Clearly this would make a great tournament entry.

Scott, only one person made it to the Mr. Cool stage, and that was the tourney winner, Big Sal. On one life Sal was still cruising along well past that stage. Then I felt a tickle in my throat and suddenly violently flailed my arms, just nicking the reset button :)

FINALLY done with the photos page.

For the record, I did not spill that beer.

Now I know why I drink so much at NAVA. It's not any of the usual suspects (social anxiety, reliving the youth, technolust, alcoholism), but just a way to pass the time and ease the pain of the Rock Band until the Bat Mitzvah next door gets good and fired up, or at least an old school tournament.

Speaking of tournament, I know those turtles don't flip over that fast in the arcade version. Robbed again. Next time I intend to dispense of the chicanery and challenge Big Sal directly...if it's true he won it all in a Demon Attack tourney in January, well, he's just damn lucky I ditched NAVA early in favor of an evening of fistfighting on Camden's famous Admiral Wilson Boulevard. Or is that footracing? Ahh, whatever.

Hey what happened to my box of disc cases? I just never leave NAVA cleanly.
I thought I left my PS3 too but I'm told I sold it to Buyatari for $10000. Seems like a fair deal as it has my complete Slayer collection on it.

Love, Kid, I mean, err, Lord of the Files, rank 1 out of 91, Society for the Protection of Electronic Gaming Antiquities.

Hey ya'll!

LuffyDan here (The kid wearing the Astro Boy shirt in some of the photos). It was my first time at NAVA, and I gotta' say, what an awesome experience it was. Having Mr.Roboto199X (Earl) come with me to see just what it is that you all do in these crazy shindigs was well worth the trip. I've never met a more accepting and welcoming bunch of people, ESPECIALLY in the gaming community.

Memorable moments of eating pizza and chatting up the industry in the basement of lore will stay with me forever. Sal, you play a hell of a game, and here's hoping to a rematch some time soon. Forgive me for not knowing what the Wizard of Wor was. I am quite the n00b on anything predating the NES 8 Bit, but thanks for going easy on me during my first play through.

Joe, truly you are a man among men. Thanks for letting us fans come into the store and do what we do best: Raise hell and game.

Here's to many more NAVAs, friends. I look forward to being able to meet and know everyone better very soon!

That sounds like Frank. What the hell happened to Frank?

EDIT: Holy shit, Frank has been busy.

http://theovernightscape.com/

Yeah, it appears he has been. It was an amusing conversation, though I wasn't quite buying the flat earth stuff. ;) It's good to see he has kept busy.
