Collection sites? (need inspiration)

It´s always nice to check around in the rooms of doom here at DP. But for the moment I am planning a new home page for my (Treasure) collection. Have some ideas (not least have I bough a better camera so I can shot better pics:-), but I still try to find more inspiration how to design och "display" the stuff so nice as possible.

So I just wanted to check if you have tips of nice pages with collections. Of course it can be game collections, but also other kinds of collections (actually the games are just a little part of my collection nowadays;-).

So please drop a link if you know a nice site or two or just wrote down any ideas you might have about the topic.

A new way to display it? Hell, I love the way it's being displayed now. Really snappy looking and well organized (at least I think so). :)

If you mean my "old" site; thanks! Yea, I really liked it as well (a friend helped me with it so all cred to him for the design:-). The site is down for the moment (I forget to mention to the web hotel (I had "auto payment" every month) that I changed VISA and didn´t even r noticed when they took it down so I have to pay them some feed before I can put up the site again:-).

However, I plan to take better pics (most of the old ones was taken with strong flash and I think they can look much better with a better camera and some photoshopping) so I though it would be fun to meanwhile figure out a "new" way to display the collection.

I think I will try to do some kind of "scrap booking" design for every games "own" little site. Use some art work etc. in some way or another etc. Would be fun to do something really cool (even if I don´t now if I have the skill/knowledge, so I guess I have to put a lot of work in the project;-)

Well if you meant by browsing the forumites rooms of doom on videogamecollectors.com, I dunno where else you'd go but if you haven't gone there it's great.

Thanks for the tip. I use to check arount from time to time. Always very nice. But I thinking more of design/arrangement on a web page than take pictures of shelfs etc. in a "real" room. My wife are not as found of my collection as I am so I have most of it in boxes etc. and just the games I am playing "out" so I guess a web page will work as some kind of compensation and a "place" I easy can visit from time to time;-).
