I recently have wanted to purchase a XBOX 360, I'm curious whats the difference between the XBOXArcade360 and the Premium XBOX360..

The arcade is much cheaper, And I'm wanting to know the main differences?

And you call yourself Gamingking? :p

It really amounts to the number of accesories you'll get. Just look at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/compare101.htm?WT.svl=nav for the complete rundown.

The Arcade doesn't come with a hard drive, which is the main difference. You'd actually end up paying more if you bought the Arcade and then a hard drive later on down the road separately, so the Premium is really your best bet.

I knew about the hardrive, But someone was saying there we're alot more problems then just that.

Yeah, I'll stick with the Premium though. Yes, Vegi I do.

In theory not anymore. They all have the new chipset inside which is suppose to be better. I haven't heard of any falcon's failing......yet.

The arcade is great if you need a second system because you can move your HDD from system to system. The Elite or Premium is the way to go for your first 360.

Also don't think the arcade comes with component cables, so you'd have to pay extra to get hd out of it.

It depends. The Premium comes with some non-hard drive crap that the arcade does not have, but if the hard drive is the only thing you're going to miss, the arcade might work out better for you. I recently bought a new arcade ($280) and a used 20g hard drive (that's the size that comes with the Pro system, and I got it used at GameStop for $48), so I wound up paying $328, where the Pro system would've been $350. Granted, the Pro comes with a headset and component cables and probably some other crap, but it was all stuff that I didn't want or need. Plus, the Arcade system comes with a disc of arcade games and a 512mb memory card, both of which are nice, and both of which the Pro doesn't have.

You didn't ask this but If you are going to download tons of stuff from Xbox Live or rip tons of music to the 360 (Or both) You should consider buying the elite.

Elite is the way to go. Just think -- download all the extra maps for RS Vegas alone and damn near 20% of your space is gone.

I've got a fast connection, but i'd rather not redownload something because I keep running out of space.

I'm only looking to play games mostly, And maybe do live..Not wanting to rip music or DVD's on it.
