View Full Version : Worthless 2-disc PS2 games?

I have a 2-disc PS2 case (with the swiveling second disc holder on the inside, that is) that doesn't close all the way. Now, I know that Sony doesn't sell the cases like Nintendo did with the Gamecube, so I have to find my own replacement. What are some pretty much worthless games with the same kind of DVD case, if any even exist?
Basically, I want to only pay like $5 or so.
(*Hopes for a sports game*)
Thanks

Zone Of The Enders is $5 at Gamestop and originally came with a 2-disc case to hold the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo. I think they might have left the demo out on later prints of the game though.

Hmmm...not sure about any $5 games ... but many copies of Soul Calibur 2 had a Namco demo disc in them with the swivel tray. That shouldn't cost you more than $10 ... the game can be transfered out to the single disc case, and the best part is that game is far from "worthless" in terms of entertainment value!

It's not a game, but if you can find a used copy of the first Spiderman movie, it has that kind of insert for the second disc.

I've noticed some of the more recent single disk releases to have the brackets for holding the 2nd disk insert. You could always find a new case that way and just swap out the flop insert.

Yeah, I'd recommend the Zone of the Enders route for 2-disc PS2 cases.
Btw, Icarus Moonsight, love the avatar :) . It represents my stance perfectly.

Are all pretty cheap 2 cd case games.

Out of curiosity, why does the PS2 version have two discs? I'm wondering because I have the Gamecube version, which only has one disc.

SMT: Nocturne had two disk cases. Just buy one of those on ebay, toss the SMT disks right into the garbage and put whatever you have in the case.
if you're wondering, I'm not serious at all.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X (15 years anniversary) is pretty cheap at my area and most store carries them for $5.
