I finally get a PSP and now I can't find the one game I had to have for it.....

No local Gamestops have it, gonna check the flea market in the morning, but what's the story? All of the other Ace Combat games are pretty common and easy to find, was it that bad or did they ship low numbers?

Thanks,

Strange, I see it fairly often around Michigan. Try Best Buy; they tend to have a few copies around here. It's an absolutely fantastic game, though, so don't give up hunting.

Damn it, and I just passed on it today because I wasn't sure if it'd be worth picking up or not. A smaller local shop has it for $25 used, so I guess I'll pick it up next payday.

Tried Best Buy, Circuit City, both WalMarts here in Jacksonville NC.

Like I said, trying the flea market in the morning, a big fan of the AC series, AC 9 for the 360 is the only one I haven't gotten besides AC X and the one for the Game Boy Advance.

The Red Rings of death has stopped me from buying a XBox360 so far.

and the one for the Game Boy Advance.

You can skip it. It's mediocre at best.

To be honest, I found AC6 a little bit lackluster. The missions are so damned big and sprawling that it's hard to get an idea of what your actual goal is. You aren't missing the series' highest point if you don't get around to trying this one, though playing with the flight stick is quite a nice touch. The story cut-scenes are almost painful to watch - they really tried way too hard there.

On a semi-related note, Heatseeker is really, really good (the consoles more so than PSP, though that one is still pretty nice too).

its AC6 on the 360, and its my favorite. it is at most times virtually indistinguishable from live video. with the two sticks its an amazing experience.

hte psp game, on the other hand, i have heard very mixed feelings. something about this game doesnt translate well into a portable. kinda like playing a survival horror game on the psp -- some things just dont translate.

btw, the RRoD have all but stopped on the new smaller die 360s. they dont even get hot anymore (i know halo editions are like this, not sure which other releases, i think all elites)

Im also looking for ACX. Cant find it anywhere. And I just bought a PSP Slim last week.
I was looking forwarded to playing it on my HDTV.

Finally found one in Charleston SC
No box or instructions, 35 bucks but I'm having a great time as I'm halfway through.

Make sure you give it a few runs to try all the different branches. Plus there are some missions that are totally different depending on the order you do them in. It certainly kept me busy for quite a while.
