Wal-mart pricing rockband for $125

I don't know if it is all wal-marts, since I have only seen them at one wal-mart. But they have the red clearance sticker pricing it at 125.

I guess it's a YMMV sort of thing...I work in electronics at my local Wal-Mart, and we don't yet have it clearanced :/ .

Same here, it would kind of piss me off if it did suddenly drop tho, since I just bought the RB guitar and game the other day for around the same price. I honestly don't see why they would be on clearance, since it's still a good seller, unless it just isn't moving there and they have an overwhelming amount.

Only other thing I can think of if it's the first release with the (possible) defective equipment. Then again they'd probably just do a recall and be sent to claims.

My local Walmart has a ton of them,in two locations in the store..I was a bit suprised to run into them outside the electronics section..the local EB also had a ton..
they seem to have an overwhelming amount..

Target also had a load ..on sale.. but my last trip there I didn't see any.

I personally knew it was only a matter of time. I have never seen anyone in a store buy one. And I know some gamestops with 30 of them sitting in the floor. Next up Rock band 79.99. for me 125.00 is still high.

I hear they are going to discontinue the bundles. Down the line, people will have to buy the game and the instruments separately. Makes me glad I already got one, but I wish I had paid 125.00.

You should be happy with what you paid. Over here in Europe they announced that they are going to sell the bundle (all instruments + game) for €240 (which is about $380 !!!).

Seriously, my local stores which are all right next to each other have copies stacked to the 20-foot ceiling. How can they expect to move all of those?


Probably with a large dolly or a hand pallet truck?
