Play-Asia sells SMT Nocturne new for $44.99. NOTE: This is the version without the soundtrack CD, not the common original version with the CD.

Rumors is that is the start of a reprint - there is an Ebay / Amazon seller that mysteriously just got over 20 copies of Nocturne, brand new, and is selling them at $69.99 a piece.

CAG says the same guy on Ebay got in copies of Gitaroo-Man brand new and did the same thing, then a few days, the reprint came out, a long time ago.

It's an awesome deal, but I'm going to wait a few days to see if Atlus doesn't have a trick up its sleeve and we see these on Amazon, probably cheaper than P-A since they usually charge a few dollars more for US releases.

If you don't have this game already, get it.

Will the reprint still say "Limited Edition Director's cut?"

If it's like the first set of reprint's a long time, ago, yea.

It's easy to tell a reprint from an original... the original has a music cd, the reprint doesn't.

A sealed original also has the white seal across the top, the reprint doesn't.

After GS selling Nocturne used for $40, and Play Asia selling it for $45, Amazon has the game in stock again and sells it for $40. (free shipping)

heres the problem with that i know someone who got the new reprint and just put in his own soundtrack disc making his own original copy.

You're right. It is easy to put the easily available separate soundtrack CD in a double disc case or single disc case together with the non-soundtrack CD edition.

If someone wants to buy the original release with the different back cover from an auction site, I recommend to ask the seller first if the back cover says “Includes Limited Edition Soundtrack CD" on the back cover. This way you make sure to get the original release.

If someone gets the game w/o this imprint on the back cover, he merely got the newer edition with the CD thrown in.
