The Super Genintari (http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/14/super-genintari-project-is-finished-and-ready-to-make-you-enviou/) project is complete. Awesome. If he'd built a model 1 tray loading Mega CD in there, I'd have been even more impressed.

While I admire the effort, he shouldn't have made the case transparent IMO.

It doesn't look too bad. The general design is good.

The color could have been different since it makes it look like something that would only play Atari. Other than that, it is something that I could see adding to the collection.

You know, I can see a lot of work went into that but a big box with an AV switcher on the front just doesn't impress me.

It looks a lot like one of those old Atari 2600 system/games storage cases.

A neat idea, well executed electronically ...

... but I don't like the size/shape of the unit, or the choice to go with the smoke black clear plastic.

Certainly more than I could do, but I wouldn't buy one if they were mass produced in that style.

I thought it looked pretty nice considering how many systems are in there. I really like all the power supplies built into the system as well. Just one normal power cord out the back. Very clean, I have not seen this before, so I am very impressed.

This contraption is kind of cool, but as far as I can tell it only outputs composite video, no S-video:
