i am writing because i recieved along time ago a copy of outtrigger from sega for online testing. The disk looks exactly like a cd-r no writting or imprinting of graphics on the disk. The disk itself says in the header produced by or under licience of sega and it has there logo and has the numbers %51102 n17091 on the bottom of the disk. my question what would the rarity of an item like this go for and how much do you think it would be worth? Form what i understand there were less than 1000 online testers for this game. The disk is the full game. As a gift sega told us we could keep it. thanks in advance any help is appreacieated.

Sounds like a "proto" or "beta"-version of the game, either it is the full version.
I would carefully read the license before selling it.

And if there were only 1000 disks made, I would consider it rare.

This isn't my specialty - prototype CD-R's - but I'll forward this to the Prototype Forum where the experts there can have at it for you.

I have a copy of this as well.

Its not a CDR is an actual pressed disk that hasn't been painted on the topside. These are called "silvers"

As far as worth well its hard to say the market for these things hasn't really developed yet.
