I just got a 2-port 5200 but I'm having trouble getting any kind of picture to display on my TV. I have never used one of these before so I have no idea if I'm doing this right or not.

I have this power supply.

And this thing.

I don't know if the box pictured above needs it's own power supply. I've tried plugging the power supply into it but nothing happens. I later found the port on the system to plug the power supply into which makes the red light come on when I press power.

So I put the cord from the 5200 into the port that says "game" on the box pictured above. Then I put the cord that comes out of the box that says "TV" into the back of my TV.

I've tried powering up the system with the cable from the box plugged into the back of my TV with the channel set on 3 but nothing happens at all.

Any kind of help would be helpfull.

That's a 4 port system switchbox. Power goes directly into 2-port units, normal switchbox (or RCA -> F-type adatper) goes onto antenna lead.

I take it that box I have is not compatible then. I guess one of those "game" switch boxes would work then? I have one that tried out but that didn't work either, but I have reason to believe that it's broken.

Yep, the box in the picture won't work at all with that system. Try a good switchbox or direct adapter and see if that does it.

If you plugged in a 2port with a 4port switchbox, it's possible you fried something. :(

I got another game switch box and the picture comes up now. Even the controllers that came with the system seem to work properly, I guess.

Thanks for the input though.

I just bought a 5200 today and it has 4 controller port holes but only 2 controller parts on the inside. Were these released like this or did someone tamper with this one that I have?

Someone either swapped the board or the upper case half.
